2022-23 R.E.B. Leadership Award Nominations
Dear Families, Faculty, and Staff,
The Community Foundation is now accepting nominations for the 2022-23 R.E.B. Awards for Distinguished Educational Leadership, which will result in a $30,000 grant for a Hanover County Public Schools principal.
The R.E.B. Awards for Distinguished Educational Leadership recognize four public school principals, one each from the counties of Chesterfield, Hanover, Henrico, and the City of Richmond. Each winner will receive a $30,000 grant - a $10,000 cash grant to the principal and $20,000 to be used for school projects chosen by the principal.
Students, parents, colleagues, school staff and administrators, and community members may nominate an outstanding principal. Nominations should include a one- to two-page typed letter explaining the nominee’s distinguished educational leadership and can be accompanied by up to three additional one-page letters of support.
Nominations must be received by The Community Foundation by 5 p.m. on Thursday, November 3. All nominations must be submitted through the online system by the November 3 deadline. No hard copies, faxes or emails are accepted. For more information about nomination guidelines and criteria, please visit
