Ms. Allison Fleming is entering her 18th year as an educator in public schools and her 8th year as Senior Teacher at Mechanicsville High School. Ms. Fleming has achieved National Board Certification in Spanish and her Teacher as Leader endorsement. In addition to teaching Spanish, she has taught world history and the theory of knowledge. While at MHS, Ms. Fleming has served as the Graduation Coordinator, Beta Club Advisor, and Sophomore Class Advisor. Presently, Ms. Fleming serves as a Mentor Coordinator and is a member of the New Teacher Induction Team for Hanover County Public Schools. 

Ms. Fleming earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Foreign Languages (Spanish) and a Bachelor of Arts degree in History from West Virginia University 2005. In 2007, she earned a Master of Arts degree in Foreign Languages (Spanish) and a Master of Arts degree in Secondary Education with a concentration in Foreign Languages from WVU. She completed her Educational Leadership Endorsement through Longwood University in 2020.

Ms. Fleming resides in Hanover County with her husband. She loves spending time with her family, reading, and knitting.
