We have a great team of passionate and dedicated coaches who understand our athletics program is about more than just competition and winning. We encourage our athletes to strive for excellence and perform at their highest level both academically and athletically. Our athletics program encourages student-athletes to realize their potential and develop strong moral character, self-confidence, and valuable leadership skills.

Boosters

Support our athletics teams by joining the MHS athletics boosters. Meetings are the second Wednesday each month at 6:30 p.m.

Athletics Eligibility

In order to be eligible for athletics participation at Mechanicsville High School, you must meet the following requirements:

• Passed five classes the previous semester/year. 
• Presently be taking five classes for academic credit. 
• Have a current VHSL physical on file dated May 1 or later for the current school year. 
• Each team may have additional requirements that will be discussed by the coaches during the season.
